Dan Mitchell has held an Arizona Property & Casualty License since 1984 and Life & Health since 1997. In addition he obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1994. As a strong believer in education, Dan continues to stay current with industry products and offerings with his ongoing education. Dan Mitchell is one of the co-founding members of the agency, relocation from Colorado to Arizona to assist in opening Ideals first office. As an active partner, responsibilities include general administration, personal lines manager and sales of auto , home , business and life insurance.

Dan Mitchell is committed to the highest standards of excellence and dedicated to establishing a firm relationship of trust with his clients by providing personal service with expert advice. Dan Mitchell has served on several agent advisory boards for insurance companies including the Jonathan Trumbell board/Hartford, ASI/Hartford/AARP Agent Forum, CSE Insurance Company and the Encompass Insurance Company.

Dan Mitchell is an active member in the Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce and currently leads a networking group for the Surprise Chamber. Dan Mitchell is also active in his local church and community by leading and hosting a neighborhood group. Neighborhood groups are organized to be the helping hands of neighbors in need. Whether yard work, basic home maintenance of financial needs, neighbors are encouraged and organized to step up and help one another. Organized activities also include helping local schools and outreaches.
Personally, Dan Mitchell loves to spend time with his wife and growing extended family. Current grandfather to ten grandchildren. Dan also enjoys building/construction projects, biking, fishing and playing guitar.
